04/07/2019 18th Annual Comedy for a Cure

Comedy for a Cure® is set to return for its 18th straight year on Sunday, April 7, 2019.  Last year was one of this event’s most successful, and we have plans to continue that momentum! Comedy for a Cure has taken place at seven different locations over its long history, and in 2019, we will find another new home since The Globe Theatre has been demolished to make way for another Universal Studios adventure. We’re exploring an exciting list of new possibilities, which we expect will continue to add to the event’s success. Comedy for a Cure has developed a fabulous Comedian Committee that meets every year to kick off planning for the evening’s talent lineup. This committee is chaired by Jim O’Heir, and members include Shane Brady, Mo Collins, Kate Flannery, Wendy Liebman, Melissa Peterman, Craig Shoemaker, Jimmy Shubert and Alex Skuby. This committee has proved to be a priceless asset to the TS Alliance.

05/10/2019 Third Annual Sound Bites

The TS Alliance is pleased to announce the Third Annual Sound Bites, An Evening of Food, Wine, and Music, will return to The Metropolitan on Friday, May 10, 2019. Sound Bites provides an opportunity to raise funds and recognize those who have made significant impacts in our fight against tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC).

The local event planning committee determined a change of seasons and a weekend setting would take this fabulous event to the next level. A special shout out goes to the locally grown talent, Chris Hawkey, Kat Perkins and Melissa Peterman, who continue to provide us with awesome support, drive and a personal commmitment to the success of Minnesota Sound Bites.
