On May 18, 2013, the TS Alliance of Greater Chicago held the annual Step Forward to Cure TSC in Galesburg, IL. It was a great day for all attendees who enjoyed good company, food, and entertainment while bringing hope to thousands of families living with TSC. Thank you to all the volunteers that made the event such a success and a special thank you to Karen Johnson-Wenger for her incredible success and dedication as walk chair! Amazing job raising over $5,700!
Also on May 18, 2013, the TS Alliance of Chicago held its other annual Step Forward to Cure TSC in Westmont, IL. It was a great day for all attendees who enjoyed good company, food, and entertainment while bringing hope to thousands of families living with TSC. Thank you to all the volunteers that made the event such a success and a special thank you to Lisa Smiley for her incredible success and dedication as walk chair! Amazing job raising over $30,500!
The TS Alliance of Greater Chicago hosted a meeting on March 13, 2013 featuring Drs. Michael Kohrman and Charles Marcuccilli who spoke about current treatments and causes of seizures. The Chicago TSC community enjoyed an informative talk as well as time to get to know one another as part of the local TSC family.
