Southern California TSC Clinics

Los Angeles
The UCLA Hospital Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic sees infants to adolescents (individuals over 18 years are referred to the UCLA Adult Neurology Service for evaluation) weekly on Tuesdays.   Under the direction of Dr. Joyce Y. Wu, the clinic is dedicated to providing medical care for patients with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). Loma Linda University 
The Loma Linda University Health Care Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic sees children and adults bi-weekly. Under the direction of Dr. Stephen Ashwal, the clinic is dedicated to providing proactive medical care for patients with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). Success Stories

On May 15, 2010, the TS Alliance of Southern California held the annual Step Forward to Cure TSC.  It was great day with more than 300 people participating in the walk and raising over $113,000 for research and family support programs. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped set up and run the walk and helped everything run smoothly.  A special thank you to walk chairs Barb O’Neill, Tresha Bisang, and Dawn Redfield for their hard work, dedication and great success!  View event pictures here.

The 9th Annual Comedy for a Cure was held April 11 in Hollywood, raising $250,000 to the TS Alliance!  Thanks to Patricia Heaton, Ray Romano, Larry Miller and everyone for their enthusiastic support.  Also, kudos to event co-chairs Dr. Rick and Jennifer Glassman as well as the night's honorees, Craig and Cindy Cunningham.  Click here for photos and a review of the press coverage.
