TS Alliance International Relations
The TS Alliance has a long-standing history of international involvement within the TSC community: supporting research throughout the world with our Global Alliance Program and International Scientific Advisory Board; hosting or participating in International TSC Research Conferences; and membership within TSC International, a consortium of TSC organizations around the world.
TS Alliance Global Alliance Program
Officially launched in 2014 with the TS Alliance of Israel, the TS Alliance Global Alliance Program was created as a way to address unmet needs within the global TSC community at the country level. This program provides the opportunity for the TS Alliance to share experiences and assist in the start-up or support of TSC-related organizations in other countries. As there may be cultural, economic and legal differences among countries, the TS Alliance is willing to work with you to create a step-by-step plan, specific to the needs of your association or country.
A Global Alliance is a structured group of empowered and caring volunteers who work closely with the TS Alliance to accomplish the following: facilitate local connections for individuals and families affected by TSC, and raise revenue and increase awareness while supporting the mission of the organization. The Global Alliance program fosters stronger links between the TS Alliance, communities and individuals around the world.
The TS Alliance is pleased to share our experiences by partnering with the following TSC-related organizations in other countries:
TS Alliance of Israel, which launched in 2014.
Tuberous Sclerosis Canada Sclérose Tubéreuse (TSCanada ST), which entered a formal partnership with TS Alliance in 2016.
If you are interested in starting a TSC organization in your country, including partnering with the TS Alliance, please contact Katie Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The TS Alliance collaborates with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex International (TSCi), a world-wide consortium of existing tuberous sclerosis complex associations and organizations, serving as an avenue to empower those affected by tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), including individuals, families, caregivers, educators and health care providers. In addition, TSCi provides a forum to share information, exchange ideas and methods, co-fund research projects, and promote increased international awareness of TSC.
TS Alliance also partners with TSCi for the annual TSC Global Awareness Day, held May 15.
